Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State has appointed Surveyor Joshua Mark Ma’aku as the Director General of the Taraba State Geographic Information Services (TAGIS).
According to a press statement from the Chief Press Secretary to the Taraba State government, the appointment takes immediate effect.
Prior to this role, Dr. Ma’aku served as the General Manager of TAGIS, following its creation through an executive order. However, with the recent passage of a law granting legal status to TAGIS, he has been promoted to Director General.
Dr. Ma’aku, a highly qualified and accomplished surveyor, began his career humbly as a Survey Attendant in the Taraba State Civil Service. He steadily climbed the ranks to his current position, recognized for his commitment to leadership excellence and his role in advancing TAGIS' goals in Taraba State. He has held various positions that showcase his leadership and organizational skills.
