The Taraba State Government has announced plans to dualize sections of the Bali-Serti-Gembu road following the completion of ongoing rehabilitation work by the federal government.
Governor Agbu Kefas expressed his commitment to this expansion project during an official visit to the Sadauna local government area.
During his visit, Kefas discussed various development projects in the state, stressing the importance of peace and unity for their successful implementation. He praised the Chief of Mambilla for promoting unity among the people of Sadauna.
The governor also highlighted the tourism potential of the Mambila Plateau and reiterated his administration’s dedication to harnessing this potential for sustainable development.
At Mambila Beverage Limited in Kakara, Kefas announced that the government has arranged for private investors to collaborate with the company to boost tea production. Mambila Beverages Limited produces "Highland Tea" and "Green Tea," and Kefas plans to invite a team of Kenyan experts and investors to modernize the company to meet export standards.
He expressed concern about erosion threatening the company’s plantation and pledged to provide new tractors from the state’s stock, with the condition that the company would purchase them at a subsidized rate.
