In Taraba State, troops from the 6 Brigade of the Nigerian Army, deployed to the Karim-Lamido local government area, have successfully raided a camp belonging to bandits, resulting in the elimination of three of them. Additionally, weapons and ammunition were recovered from the scene of the operation.
Brigadier Kingsley Uwa, the brigade commander, hailed the command's significant victory against the criminal elements in Taraba. The operation, conducted in Chibi village, involved the retrieval of two AK47 rifles, a motorcycle used by the criminals, and a cache of 40 rounds of 7.62 mm ammunition.
Brigadier Uwa highlighted that the troops, guided by actionable intelligence, executed a precise strike against the criminals. He commended the bravery and efficiency of the troops, characterizing the engagement as a clear demonstration of their unwavering commitment to preserving peace and security in Taraba.
