JALINGO-The second day of the Gods Grace and Love Outreach, GGLO 2021 which is also the grand finale of the lead held in Jalingo stands a focal point for building more capable leaders from the church and the need for effective followership and loyalty.

The non-interdenominational program hosted several men of God who broaden the scopes of their teaching towards establishing the theme of the convention "Becoming a Better Leader Through Loyalty and Followership".

In his presentation, The convener, Dr. Victor who spoke on "Who to Follow" divided into four sub-topics, Follow a visionary leader, follow a Leader that builds, follow a Leader with integrity and discipline and follow a Leader who is better than you.  




It is established that it requires the wisdom of God for us not to submit our destiny trying to prove loyalty to the wrong people.

Stressing further, the clergyman unveiled how ungodliness, spiritism, and disloyalty to God have defiled the Alter of God thereby hinders the manifestation of His Presence in the church. lack of Financial wisdom, strange sacrifices, lies, selling of spiritual gifts, and teaching of hearsays has grounded the church. Therefore, he called on the church to take a watch against such kingdom vices.


Dr. Fallack who also spoke on Ungodly Practice: An Act of Disloyalty to God enlisted some ungodly practices that church leaders should desist from includes the following;

1. Desist from the practice of spiritism. 
2. Desist from making strange sacrifices. Lev.10:1-2.
3. Desist from false prophecy. Jeremiah 14:15, 29:9.
4. Desist from telling lies on the Holy altar. 1Tim. 2:7.
5. Desist from trading your spiritual gift. Act 8:18.
6. Desist from preaching heresies and false doctrines.
7. Desist from breaking trust.



The guest minister of the day Bishop Isaac Crown who took the "Relationship and Marriage" seminar established the sixty-six (66) things that ignite loyalty in a love relationship. He stressed the need for men to study and know the most needs of their wives at such, victorious family life and marriage will be obtainable.

On church planting and kingdom advancement, the convention featured a legal seminar from Barr. Confidence Falack throws more light on the place of the law regarding the church in Nigeria. He said the place of regulation of the church by the law was necessary to eliminate ignorance away from the body of christ as such issues have been on the ground.

The convention also featured medical seminars, free medical checkups, and treatment of minor ailments, etc.

According to Bishop Dr. Isaac Crown:

Loyalty is mutual. It's not all about the subordinate always doing what is right for his senior. Loyalty is an unwavering commitment to a course, a person, organization, or nation.

A master should be loyal in paying his servants (terms of condition) as the servants remain loyal in doing their work.

Understand why you should be loyal: you are not being loyal as a service to your master. Your stand to be loyal is a service to God (2 Cor 10:2, Gen 31: 12)

A follower should know his level.

If you can not stand for something, you will fall for anything.

If anybody persecutes you for righteousness sake, God will remedy it for you.
