Former Minister of Women Affairs, Senator Aisha Jummai Alhassan, popularly known as Mama Taraba, has revealed that she wasn't sent out of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) instead she walked out herself and now decided to walk back to the party.
Sen. Aisha made this known on Saturday while speaking to newsmen in Abuja, said she left PDP willingly and now she's back. She said her return to PDP became necessary because after the 2019 election, she was literally floating in UDP which was not present in the state.

Alhassan also added that she joined APC in 2015 after exiting PDP but they in turn humiliated her and thwarted her gubernatorial bid in the 2019 polls.
Sen. Alhassan has also declared that aside the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, there’s no other political party in Taraba State.
Aisha, a former senator who represented Taraba North, said she was disqualified from contesting the 2019 governorship election in the State without any reason.
Alhassan recounted her ordeal with the ruling party, APC; she said she was a PDP Senator for four years and it never changed.
