Two gunmen suspected to be Kidnappers were on Saturday knocked down by a commercial driver along Takum - Wukari road of Taraba state.


According to our findings, the gunmen were knocked down along Chanchanji - Abakwa village precisely. The driver was treading the path where all of a sudden two strange people pooped out from the bush pointing guns at the driver and asking him to stop.


A source, Audu Bello who was among the passengers being conveyed, said the driver was about to stop and he realized they were kidnappers and she speeded up thereby Knocking down the duo of the gunmen.

On reaching Wukari,  the driver according to our source reported the case to the police command there and when the police took off to the scene, they couldn't meet the gunmen but saw blood.


Spokesperson of the Taraba state police command, DSP David Misal is yet to confirm the incident as it is yet to be reported to the command’s desk.


Rhapsodi Affos Blog RAB findings has also shown that the particular route has become the new kidnappers den where they force drivers to stop, kidnap passengers and ask for ransom.
