Sen. Haruna Manu initiates the installation of solar-powered lights in major streets of Taraba Central (Photos)

Just six weeks after installing large transformers in Taraba Central Senatorial District, Senator Haruna Manu has begun a significant project to install solar-powered lights in major streets across his constituency.

The installation began in Madrona, Garin Jibir, and Lomodu Villages of Gassol Local Government Area on Monday as part of his constituency outreach.

Hon. Hamza Garba Jamis, leading Senator Manu's delegation, stated, "We are committed to brightening our streets to eliminate darkness, which hampers commercial activities. Normally, people would have been home by now, but we can see markets still operating and children doing their homework under the streetlights."

Senator Manu Haruna plans to install even more streetlights across all streets and corners of Taraba Central Senatorial District.
