It was a sight to behold as some students of Federal University Wukari, (FUW) Taraba State were on Monday spotted wearing their matriculation gown, three days after the matriculation and oath-taking.
The students who were spotted at different locations of the school were seen flaunting their matriculation gowns. When our reporter interviewed them separately, they had different responses.
Speaking with Rhapsodi Affos Blog RAB, one of the students who was simply identified as Joseph said he is still enjoying his 1,000 for the gown stressing that a day isn't enough to consume the money he paid.
Another who identified himself as Manasseh said, he has stayed for long at home, and never believes that one day he will be admitted to the university. Manasseh further told our reporter that wearing his matriculation gown there days after taking his oath is reaffirming his admission and celebrating his success. "Celebration doesn't finish" he added.
The last person was interviewed said the gown is his and he decides when to wear it because his 1,000 hasn't been fully consummated.
Recall that a month ago, some students of Taraba State University(TSU), Jalingo trended when they snapped pictures of their selves cooking, sleeping with their matriculation gowns respectively.
Federal University Wukari held their Matriculation and oath-taking on Friday, we're over 3,000 students were inducted into the institution.
