Taraba state governor, Arch Darius Ishaku om Sunday has said the stae government under his leadershipwill provide succour to the victims of Saturday flood.


According to the governor,  he will make sure relief materials such as food itemsamd kots more are name available to the victims and as well as relocate those affected with immediate effect.


Ishaku made this statement when he visited the various scenes of flooded areas in Jalingo, the state capital of Taraba state.


Recall that Rhapsodi Affos Blog had earlier reported that several houses, farmlands, and properties worth millions were submerged after a heavy flood ravaged JALINGO metropolis on Saturday.


Speaking at one of the scenes, he assured the affected victims of adequate support from the state government in order to ease their immediate burden by providing Succour to them.


He advised those living close to riverine areas to seek alternatives either by relocating to safer areas because going by forecast there will be more rain this season.
