The Commander of the Benue State Joint Task Force, codenamed ‘Operation Zenda’, CSP. Justine Gberindyer has been honored with  50 MIGHTS Excellence award in Jalingo, Taraba State.

Presenting the award to CSP Justine Gberindyer at the Catholic Pastoral Center, Jalingo,  the organizer of the 50 MIGHTS Award, Jegs Mailafia said the award was in recognition of his greatness, achievement, passion, hard work and impact in his assignment.


 
The group said the prompt arrest of kidnappers, raiding kidnappers hideout and building public confidence on the Nigerian Police are some of the achievements that necessitated the award to the Commander of the Benue Joint Task Force.

They described CSP Gberindyer as a man who does not blow his trumpet when taking decisions on crime-fighting, saying “CSP Gberindyer can easily pass as just an ordinary person but behind the mask is a quintessential industrious and intelligent security expert who is highly cerebral and progressive-minded. He is quiet and unassuming.”

Receiving the award, the awardee, CSP Justine Gberindyer appreciated the honor bestowed on him by the Organizers of 50 MIGHTS Award, adding that service to humanity was his watchword, stressing that as policeman he cannot toy with the security of the citizenry.

CSP Gberindyer who was represented by ASP  Innocent Ekere dedicated the award to the Inspector General of Police, IGP Mohammed Adamu, the State Commissioner of Police, CP. Mukaddas Garba, Governor Samuel Ortom and his men, saying, the award would spur him to do more.

He acknowledged the numerous support is given to him and his men by the Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom, and the Commissioner of Police, Benue State Command in the area of logistics and welfare to succeed.

He appreciated Benue people for their support in the area of intelligence gathering and sued for partnership with the people and traditional rulers so as to win the war against crime, kidnapping, and other forms of criminality, saying, the fight against criminality can only be won collectively.
