Two suspected agents of kidnappers have been arrested by men of the Nigerian vigilante in Jalingo, the state capital of Taraba state on Tuesday.


The Jalingo local government Command of the Vigilante Group of Nigeria in Taraba state, says it has arrested two suspected agents of kidnappers on Tuesday morning.

The suspected agents were identified as Inusa Abdullahi and Ubale Adamu from Garbabi in Bali LGA of the state.


It was gathered that the suspects stormed Jalingo, with a mission to point out one Aunty Diah's house to the kidnappers at mile six area of Jalingo LGA to be kidnapped.

Commander of the vigilante, Jalingo local government Command, Munir Bello said the suspects were arrested at Mile 6 after  negotiating with the kidnappers on how to kidnap their target and place her for ransom.

Bello further explains  that the two suspects were arrested at mile six through an informant. It was further gathered that the duo has since confess to their offence and have been handed to the police (IRT) for proper investigation
