In Furtherance of their Commitment, the advocacy team Of  #FixGembuRoad campaign  has gone beyond words  and media campaigns, as the team donated working materials to 3 different groups maintaining the road manually, on Saturday.


Rhapsodi Affos Blog gathered that the group secured 7 Wheelbarrows and 7 Shovels and donated the same to 3 different teams manually maintaining the road from Mambilla Hill (Biu Da Sisi) to Yelwa.

It was further gathered that four Wheelbarrows and Four Shovels were given to the youths on the mountain, two were given to the guys working between Yelwa and Maisamari and Yelwa and Gurgu. The last set was given to the Gurgu axis to a Man who has been Volunteering to patch potholes on the road using Jerry Can and Hoe.




In a chat with Rhapsodi Affos Blog RAB reporter, the convener of the #FixGembuRoad advocacy group, Mr. JD Yaji said Gembu, the headquarters of Sardauna LG has all it takes to increase the IGR of brother Taraba and Nigeria at large.


Yaji added that if constructed, the road will ease transportation for investors, lure investors. D boost tourism in the state and country at large.




“While the push for the reconstruction of the road continues, the group will continue to support the youth that are working on the road with tools and other resources to make the road usable, save lives and property before coming to the aid of the Community”.
