HRM Ebwafwe Bose Yusuf

Reigning Miss, Ichen, HRM Ebwafwe Bose Yusuf has written an open letter to Taraba state governor, Arc. Darius Ishaku over the recent Tiv/Ichen crisis.

In a letter authoritatively obtained  by Rhapsodi Affos Blog RAB team, Miss Yusuf urged the governor to look critically into the issue that has caused loss of lives and properties and proffer solutions.

Below it reads:

It saddens my heart to say our sorrows now know no bounds, our tears have now turned the ink to write this piece, a piece that has shattered our hearts to pieces, stole our pride and left us mourning.

My home, my people, my land, mothers, fathers even children killed. Is it a curse or is it the consciousness of our actions?
Why must we suffer? Is it because we protect our homes or because we stood our grounds? The voices of the children crying cannot be compared to the amount of pains and blood the ground has swallowed. My motherland, my pride where are your sons and daughters? Where are the ones you blessed to protect us? It hurts to see us stand alone at this time.

A crisis that started in GIDAN ADAMU in DONGA LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA claimed over 20 lives just because a man went about his legitimate business by going to his farm, but he was brutally attacked, in a barbaric and inhuman way. Killings are still ongoing in SUNTAI, DAGE and NUWHYNA including BALI ROAD axis, homes sacked and houses burnt down. It is indeed a huge loss to my people, especially the killings of women and children at KWASSA, it is indeed a huge loss to Southern Taraba.

In times like this we need God and a true leader to liberate us from the shackles of war and blood thirsty militants and restore peace to our lands and homes as both sides are losing and mourning and deep down advocate for peace.

I want to use this medium to call on your Excellency Sir, and this administration to come speedily into this matter, by calling both traditional rulers and religious leaders to find a long lasting solution to this war, before our homes and lands turn into a cemetery, where we can't even farm or have food to eat.

I plead to you, Your Excellency Sir, GOV. DARUIS DICKSON ISHAKU our dear executive governor as a leader, father and also a true son of the soil to please take an action as you have always done and end the killings, bringing back peace to Southern Taraba.

A place without peace will not see development, growth, infrastructure or even participate in politics, as peace is paramount for social interaction and activities.

As a peace ambassador and a true daughter of my people, I wish and pray for a speedy and positive response from you and your administration.

Thank you Your Excellency Sir.

My name is EBWAFWE BOSE YUSUF
HRM. MISS ICHEN NIGERIA
AND I ADVOCATE AND ASK FOR PEACEFUL COEXISTENCE IN SOUTHERN TARABA IN PARTICULAR AND TARABA STATE IN GENERAL.
