Miss Wurkun flags off "Education is a right not a privilege project", donates educational materials to 3 schools in Taraba. |

The reigning Miss Wurkun Nigeria 2019/20, Queen Amour Tanko Kefas in collaboration with Wurkun Cultural Initiative (WUCUHPI)
has flagged off her pet project today being 9th March 2020 at Karim Lamido Local government area of Taraba state, Rhapsodi Affos Blog (RAB) reports.
The project which is tagged "Education is a right not a privilege" was aimed at sensitising students and parents on the need to enroll their wards and subjects in schools. And hence supplied educational materials for them as part of her support and giving back to the community.
For this particular edition, 4schools were targeted; Mutum Daya Primary school (UPE) Bangai Primary School, Central Primary School Karim & GDSS Mutum Daya
On arrival they visited Education secretary (E. S),Karim lamido LGA, Mr. Babayo Ma'aji to pay homage & thus register their presence.
While speaking, the Executive Secretary welcome them and applauded the project as a very good initiative. He however due to busy schedule couldn't witness the flag off but designated a representative.
The CEO of Wurkun Cultural Initiative (WUCUHPI), Mr. Bala M. Kwanchi thanked the E.S. for the warm welcome & promised to do more. HRM wurkun also thanked the E. S and all that came out to support the movement.
RAB also confirmed that the schools visited, had in attendance the head teachers, staff and the pupils. They in turn, thanked the beauty queen & urge others to emulate her and add value to humanity.
