The youths of Jalingo, Taraba state capital are lamenting about the prolonged curfew in the metropolis & thus suggested provision of cabs by the state government.

It could be recalled that the state government in its quest to curtail the nuisance of tribal crisis, kidnapping that was gradually becoming a routine, imposed a curfew in the state early this year for proper security & close monitoring. The curfew was accepted in good  fate not until it seems to be lasting forever.

Some of the youths, as gathered by Rhapsodi Affos Blog RAB, took to their Facebook pages to complain about the curfew imposed by the state government with no supply of provisional Taxis. The youth lamented the security risk involved in taking an unknown taxi at night.

Others who spoke in a chat with Rhapsodi Affos Blog RAB, revealed that the curfew is slowing business in the state capital thus reducing their earnings which also affects their livelihood.

"Since kekeNapep operators are not allowed to go around once its 8PM, then the government should make provision for Taxis, it is more safer than just entering taxis at night from anyone. Taxi isn't like kekenapep, people can take you away easily". A source told RAB.
