Arguably one of the largest local government council in the state, Sardauna LGA has had to battle with issues of dysfunction in its reps at the state house over the years.
The LGA which plays host to three constituencies namely Mbamnga, Gembu and Nguroje has had to deal with issues of balancing the scale in terms of an even, all round development across the three constituencies.
The inability of other constituencies to meet up with the present day developmental reality witnessed in other areas has succeeded in weighing a great deal of burden on the sole working member *Rt Hon DCN Abel Peter Diah* the adopted member.
Invariably, if Sardauna LGA being one of the largest in the state most attain the desired level of development it quest for, hitherto, a wake up call is therefore necessary to members of Gembu and Nguroje constituency irrespective of party affiliations.
It is disheartening to note that Sardauna today is viewed as a mono-constituency producing council, (mbamnga) due to the weak nature of the members representing other constituencies in terms of decision making, development, influence and contributing towards the growth of the land.
Just like *migrants* in search of greener pastures, people seems to have started abandoning their constituencies becoming an *emergency indigens* of mbamnga constituency where the real deal is.
Like a one sided paralyzed body, the weight is becoming too heavy on Mbamnga constituency who shoulders all the burden without complaining even though no one is saying thank you.
*OUR CALL.*
If Sardauna LGA most attain that echelon of greatness, we most all hold our respective representatives accountable to justify their mandate Just as Mbamnga constituency is doing through the justified Rt Hon speaker.
We most learn to appreciate people who have volunteered to serve us even when they had the choice not to do so (Speaker TSHA)
We most be willing to strike the balance come next election by choosing the right candidates.
and even if we finally do chose the right candidates we most plead with Mbamnga to help us maintain Rt Hon DCN Abel Peter Diah as member so he can help nurture our prospective good members before he finally bows out.
It's a political therapy towards recovering from this paralism.
