Born Victor Micah Bulus. Now HRH Apostle Victor Micah Bulus. popularly known and celebrated as AUTAN ZAKI Ikon Allah (Sarkin Waka) GOSPEL EMIR is an indigene of Kurmi LG in Taraba State, Tigun by tribe. Born into the family of Mr. & Mrs Micah.
A graduate of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, he did his NYSC in Warri Delta State. He is happily married to Queen Lazeere Victor Micah Bulus and the father of one daughter, Joy.
He started music at his early age but professionally he started singing in 1998. And since then he has recorded 4 gospel albums with numerous features and singles, he has shared stage and minister along with great music ministers within and outside Nigeria.
He is the inventor of modern Kalangu Music, he has received a lot of awards and trophies within and outside Nigeria.
The first time i heard Autan Zaki's song 'Baja da baya' the album, around 2011- that was the time that almost every guy was going into rap music and at that time the rap music started getting much acceptance around here.
Hearing his kind of tune and the Hausa accent he used, I so much laughed and I was like what is wrong with this guy, what kind of song is this, what actually made him go into this genre of music? am sure he has nothing to do with his money " and very soon he will stop singing. Am pretty sure quite a lot of people thought that way too, even those that said worser things.
But now the story is different, undoubetlfully he is the most celebrated gospel artiste in the entire northeast geopolitical zone and one of the most celebrated in the north. I was talking with him one time like that and he told me of how engaged he is with several ministrations in Many states, I was surprised when he mentioned Lagos, Port Harcourt etc, he kept receiving merits award and recommendations there but it's still that same Hausa accent he used and the same music he use to do when we mocked him that got him all these. He's a graduate but the Kalangu music feeds him.
Because of his constituency and paying deaf ears to certain criticism, today the kalangu kind of music has numerous people trooping in, believing they could make a name from this genre.
Autan Zaki by God's grace will be celebrating his 20th year in gospel music, and the launch of his album 'Sako ga shugaban kassa' (Letter to Mr President story 2).
He has actually come a long way but before he came to limelight, he had 20 years of neglect, insult, attacks, mockery etc. But the story is different now, indeed there is no glory without story
The date and venue of the event will be unveiled very soon.
Pray along and celebrate greatness.
