Its been quite doom in the affairs of civil servants in Taraba state as salaries haven't yet been paid for the month of july. Attention are been drawn to the cries based on financial challenges faced by citizen and civil servants of the state.

Based on the above facts the SSG Taraba state, Mr Anthony Jelason cleared the air on sunday been the 2nd of August, during the thanksgiving service of the newly NLC chairman of the state Rev Peter Gambo, which took place in Christ Glorious army (CGA), jalingo. The ssg,Deputy Governor represented by Hon Dan asabe,Command of specialist hospital, permanent secRETARY local government affairs and key players in the state executive council and also the former nlc chairman com mark bako and leaders of NLC. In the speech presented by the SSG, he urged the state to develop the habit of tolerance and maintain peace, he however made embassies on the vision and mission of the new government headed by Arch. Darius Ishaku.
Below he
stated. . . .

"We need to tolerate one another as christians & as Tarabans at large, peace is the bedrock in which development is built and achieved, these are Arch Darius favorite speech and emphasis, am emphasizing too. During the Hand-over ceremony which took place on the 29 of may at the jolly Nyame stadium, my attention was drawn to the speech delivered by the former acting gorvenor Alh.Sani Danladi "sir am handing over an empty treasure and more to that the state is owing a debt of over 300billion as loan and we need to pay" these were his words and am sure most of you were present, so you now see the stage Taraba was before been handed over to the present gorvernment. But not withstanding progress and development were still achieved within the short period ruled. they were quite challenging but the most challenging were.
TARABA STATE UNIVERSITY STRIKE: the which lasted for about a period of 5months, which has resulted to the delay in academic sessions of student, even those who were due for NYSC have lost it. But never the less dialogue was made with ASUU at about 12:00 AM, am sure most of you were a slept by then, but that's the sacrifice we have to pay as leaders.
ELECTRICITY STABILITY: you all are witness to the stable and powerful electric current you are now entitled to. Before now the state got only 3-4 mega watts of electricity but with the connection our governor has as a former minister he was able to get the current been raised from 3-4 to 15mega watts.
THE JUDICIARY STRIKE : the strike which started early this year has just been called off. And the state judiciary is working effectively with no sign of relent, except for the yearly recess the undergo every august.

WATER SUPPLY : how many of you have notice the sudden reappearance of water flow in your taps? After several month of water supply drought.

Having over 300billion as loan on the state our developmental processes are been delayed and slowed down, Our state government needs time to follow people, process to be able to refund such a huge amount. He need time to put smiles on the faces of his people as that has always been his priority. And to you our celebrant the NLC chairman do as much as possible to liaise with the government and the people you represent for developmental purposes, you know what the state is in, so let's not ask what we can't afford! We have confidence in you,you wouldn't fail us. On a final note let's embrace peace as I earlier on said, it is the bedrock in which development is achieved. Remember to pray for your leaders because we need it most"
