The Taraba State Government has sealed a strategic partnership with NG Eagle Airline Limited to boost air connectivity and unlock new economic opportunities for the state.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), signed through the Ministry of Transportation Development, marks a bold step by Governor Agbu Kefas’s administration to transform Taraba into one of Nigeria’s leading travel and business hubs.

Under the deal, NG Eagle Airline — a registered Nigerian carrier headquartered in Maitama, Abuja — will connect Jalingo Airport to key destinations nationwide. The airline will commence operations with two daily flights on the Abuja–Jalingo–Abuja route, operating three times a week (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays).







The Honourable Commissioner for Transportation Development, Hon. Yakubu S. Yakubu, described the move as a milestone that will ease travel, boost commerce, and promote tourism in Taraba.

On his part, the Managing Director of NG Eagle Airline Limited, Captain Amir Gaya, said the company is fully committed to reliable service delivery and enhancing Nigeria’s aviation sector. “We are excited to partner with the Taraba State Government on this transformative project,” he stated.

This development is expected to reposition Taraba as an accessible destination for investors, tourists, and travelers alike.
