The Governor of Taraba State, Agbu Kefas has taken an impromptu school visit to assess the quality of education in the state.

During the visit on Monday, the Governor surprised students and staff at Nyamusalah Primary School.

The governor's visit is part of his commitment to understanding the challenges faced by the education sector firsthand.

Governor Kefas engaged with the students, teachers and administrative staff with a view to understanding their needs.

He noted that his personal interaction with the school would help him formulate effective policies for the education sector. 

Recall that the governor had on Wednesday, paid the same kind of visit to the Government Science Secondary School in Jalingo, the state's capital.

Following his assessment, the governor ordered the immediate closure of the school, assuring you remodel it. 

"What I have seen here in the school premises is an eyesore. 

"As a parent, I cannot bet that any student schooling here will comfortably study competitively, the management must make urgent arrangements to close down activities here so that the government can have time to remodel this school," the governor said.
