In a bid to celebrate Democracy Day, Hon David Abel Fuah Member Elect Gashaka , Kurmi Sardauna Federal constituency in the 10th Assembly has given accords of his stewardship in the 9th to his constituents.

While recounting his achievements and giant strides, he also assured his constituents of governments presence in the 10th Assembly. Below he stated

Happy Democracy Day Dear Constituents 

Today is 4 years of my inauguration as Member Representing Gashaka Kurmi Sardauna Federal Constituency in 9th National Assembly. 

One of the things I promised my self was giving my stewardship from time to time which I have been consistent from my first 100days in office till date. Below are summary of Cards for the last 4Years in office as Member Representing Gashaka, Kurmi Sardauna Federal constituency.

Education
Education is one sector that my leadership have given so much priority in the last 4 year in office, especially basic and secondary which is the foundation of giving our constituency a bright future. During the year under review, I have lobbied and facilitated the construction of 3 blocks of class rooms in 27 communities across Gashaka, Kurmi and Sardauna Federal Constituency. The Benefiting Schools are:-

GDSS Mayo Ndaga, GDSS Bem, Wah Primary School, GDSS Vakude, Mbamnga Petel Primary School, Boma  Primary School, kwalip primary school, kan iyaka primary school,chabbal gudali primary school ,kabri Yara primary school, Mayo Ndaga central primary school. Leme Tella primary school, Gurgu primary school,zongo ajiya primary school,Mbula Nomadic school Nguroje,lugatari primary school, Hammangabdo primary school,mayo selbe primary school, Gayam primary school, Ndaforo primary school, Abong primary school,GDSS Ndarup,GDSS Nguroje,kakara primary school.

As part of my commitment of reducing the number of out of school children, I have also returned some out of school children back to school with distribution of free Exercise books to pupils and student in the above named schools and also lobbied for the return of JAMB center at Gembu Sardauna local government after it was closed down.

WATER:
I  identified water supply as one of  the most important and challenging sector  that needs urgent attention and in less than 30 days of my  inauguration, as Honorable Member House of Representative in the National Assembly, I  funded the rehabilitation of more than 200 Boreholes to improve the quality of life in Gashaka, Kurmi and Sardauna Local Government Areas through a planned water supply rehabilitation Scheme which was sustained and made a yearly task toward giving my constituents clean and affordable water in line with SDG Goal 6 which I make bold to say we have brought back more than 400 boreholes to life and continually maintained them during the year under review .other interventions in the water sector  includes the construction of  Three Solar Powered Boreholes sunked in Gembu, the headquarter of Sardauna Local Government Area located at Nasarawa Quarters, Veterinary Quarters and Mayo Lope Police  Station area of the Town. I also  Supported Revamping of  Nguroje water Supply System with refurbishing of their supply engine and pipes to connect water to some quarters in Nguroje   to enable them overcome water supply challenge. I have also Partnered Maisamari Youth progressive forum to connect water from  Maisamari Cattle Market to Maisamari town this have in no small measure reduced the challenge of water scarcity in Maisamari town.

HEALTH
My heath care intervention schemes have been incline with the sustainable development goals of united nation goal number 3 of ensuring Good health and well-being of my constituents. This during the year under review I was able to lobby for the construction of modern clinic in the following hard to reach and underserve communities 

Kan Iyaka town completed and handed over 
Dorofi town completed and handed over 
Kwarakwara town work ongoing 
Bang down town work ongoing 

RURAL CONNECTIVITY AND ELECTRIFICATION
Under this sector during the years under review, I was able commence the Rural Electrification of Communities through the provision of Solar Street lights in more than 50 communities across the constituency and Reactivation of Rural Electrification Station and the engines refurbished, broken poles and power cables fixed and new street lights added with more than3/months diesel supplied to provide at least 3hours light daily. The Stations are:-
R.E.B station Mayo Ndaga
R.E.B station Maisamari
R.E.B station Mbamnga 
R.E.B station Baissa while work is ongoing on REB station Serti.

As part of my sustainability plans  of removing our constituency from total darkness , I moved a motion on the floor of the house and was adopted on the need to connect our constituency to national grid through the kashimbilla Dam which federal ministry of power was directed to ensure work commence on the project . The project have been captured in 2021 and 2022 Budget which work have commenced from Serti Barrack of Gashaka and work stopped at Nyabar in Gashaka local government. (……I shall make this a Priority in the 10th Assembly).

Other infrastructural interventions under taken under during the year under review includes 
Renovation of APC Secretariat Gashaka Local Government.
Construction of Market Shed at Abong Market Square.
Roofing of CRCN Church in Danbeki Kurmi.
Construction of Multi-Purpose town Hall in Warwar is Ongoing.

JOB OPPORTUNITY/ EMPOWERMENT. 
During the year under review, my Empowerment initiative is one that promote and inclusive and sustainable means of livelihood.
In my 4 Years in office, the following empowerment   program and policies have been initiated and implemented for the purpose of wealth creation, job opportunity and improving the livelihood of my constituents.
Over two hundred and fifty men and women have been empowered   with motorcycles, grinding mills and sewing machines to improve their income generating ability and improve their living standard.
50 Youth have been trained and empowered on fish farming.
300 Constituents trained and empowered on Poultry Farming.
In Collaboration with Export Promotion Council, we Trained and empowered 170 women and Youth on Plantain Packaging for Export. 
Agriculture: we Distributes more than 2000 bags of fertilizer to farmers.
Facilitated the free Npower registration of 2,486 Applicants with more than 60% Success rate from hard to reach and underserved communities.  
I also facilitated for the engagement of more than 50 women into the school feeding program.
Also about 700 women, elders and Youth have benefited from various conditional cash transfers.
 Lobbied for permanent and pensionable jobs with; Federal Polytechnic Bali, Federal Inland Revenue Services (FIRS), Nigeria Police Force (NPF), Nigeria Army and Nigeria Airforce (NAF), Nigeria Security and civil Defense Corp, NDLEA.

These are few things through your support that 9th Assembly was able to bring down to our constituency. indeed continuity is an embodiment of democracy as I will inaugurated tomorrow 13th June as Member to represent you in the 10th Assembly , I won’t promise but assure you we have reviewed our first years and have identified the Gaps and will work toward making amends to serve you better in the 10th Assembly .
Finally as Human being I wish to ask for your forgiveness incase my best was not enough and seek for your prayers to consolidate on the above gains.
