Dike Chukwumerije Made-In-Nigeria (MIN) Set To Hold In Jalingo

The Dike Chukwumerije Made-In-Nigeria (MIN) Show is coming to a city near you! It is set to be staged in the City of Jalingo on Saturday, 16-July-22 - at the Zepa Hotel by 4pm. 

The Made-In-Nigeria Show is a Spoken Word Production by Nigeria’s foremost performance poet, Dike Chukwumerije. The show takes the audience on a breath-taking 120 minutes journey through our 108-year history as a Nation - using Poetry, Dance, Music and Theatre.

Over the past 6 years, the Made-In-Nigeria Show has been staged 27 times across the length and breadth of Nigeria – from Abuja to Lagos, Maiduguri to Bonny Island, Kaduna to Enugu, Jos to Benin City, Makurdi to Ile-Ife, Yola to Umuahia, Ibadan to Kano – and also in 6 Nigerian Universities! 

It has been well received in every location staged – as it continues to heighten our collective consciousness in our shared history as a Nation - plus rekindle a sense of Hope and Faith in our Country. Its vivid and socially conscious rendition of the ups and downs of our 108-year National History, is reminiscent of Herbert Ogunde’s travelling troupe of the 50’s – which reflected the political and social realities of that period.

This year, the Made-In-Nigeria show has been staged in Ibadan on 29-Jan-22 and then in Kano on 26-Feb-22 -  Owerri on 26-Mar-22. Minna (22-Apr-22), Port-Harcourt (28-May-22), Gombe (16-Jun-22), Lagos (30-Jul-22), Warri (27-Aug-22) and Asaba (28-Aug-22).
