Congratulations to the Presidential Candidate of the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC Sen. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. However, the need to pick a running mate who has the capacity, experience, vibrant potentials and intellectual prowess may have become inevitable. In view of several interest and calls the position of the Vice Presidential Candidate was zone to the North East sub region of the country.

The need for the APC national Secretariat and Sen Ahmed Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, to beams their search light to Taraba State cannot be overemphasized.  

 Chief Ezekiel Irmiya Afunkoyo; over the years has been a dogged, and committed Member of the Party, who has made several sacrifices for the growth and sustainability of the party.

No doubt, Chief Afokunyo is a core party Man and has held several positions.

The need for Sen. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu  and the APC national Secretariat to pick Chief Ezekiel Afunkoyo as a running mate  Cannot be overemphasized. He  is an asset to the party and will attract a lot of unprecedented votes to the party at the presidential election.

The outstanding capacity, and achievements, of Chief Afokunyo coupled with his political influence there is no doubt that APC will find the needed Vice Presidential Candidate in him.

To shed little light about the person of Chief Afokunyo, he is a trained Diplomat, a seasoned Public Servant with over 20 years of experience, a Security Expert, an Investment consultant, an organizational Strategist, an Author, a goal oriented Administrator with several developmental skills and a Mentor with proven track records that transcends cultural diversity. 

His wealth of experience in security and resource management will serve as an advantage to incoming administration if elected. 

Further more, he is a detribalize Nigerian,who so much believe in unity and onerous growth of the country.

A detribalize Nigerian, Afokunyo has served and represented Nigeria at various international and local fora and in different capacities which has exposed him to  lots of experience in various areas of national life of Nigeria.

Apart from the several feats Chief Afunkoyo has attended he is currently the Board Chairman of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital NAUTH, Nnewi. He has used the position of the Chairman of NAUTH, to make  impressive impacts which includes the completion of the permanent site of NAUTH, which was abandoned for over 30years. 

Today the permanent site of NAUTH has been completed and the institutions now enjoys several advanced improvements with emphasis on quality trainings and service delivery.

In the events that led to the emergence of All Progressive Congress, APC as the ruling party in Nigeria, Chief Afunkoyo, has maintained his interest in the growth and development of the party as he remained a stunt supporter in campaign crusades for President Muhammadu Buhari in the 2015 Presidential Election. In 2019, Chief Afukonyo made several efforts to ensure that the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC remained in power, especially at the presidential level.

There fore there is clear evidence that the Man Afokunyo can exceptionally deliver on his mandate if chosen the Vice President. And aboved all We present him to the APC national Secretariat for nomination to deputize Tinubu.
