Gembu Unity Sports events has ended with Selected Sardauna Old Boys football team defeating their female counterpart by two goals to nothing.

The game organized by Kefas Jumlang of the Hope Afresh Taraba was played at the Mohammed Mansur Stadium,Gembu Sardauna Local Government Area.

In a telephone interview,the organizer of the Sports events Kefas Jumlang said the game was organized to celebrate this year's Edel Fitr Sallah.

He stated that the Peace mantra of Governor Darius Ishaku deserved sustenance hence the need for people of goodwill to sustain the tempo by advocating for peace through Sports.

Kefas Jumlang, pledged to continue with the sports events since it has impacted positively on the people.

The Sports events featured horse racing and tug of war with presentation of prizes to winners.
