The PDP primary elections that were held on the 22nd of May 2022, were peaceful, free and fair. The elections started the late evening of Sunday 22nd May 2022 and were observed by the INEC officials, DSS, Civil defence, Police, party agents and other electoral officials.
The delegates were all accredited numbering 12 as stipulated by the electoral act and backed by the PDP guidelines that say only 3 Ad-hoc Delegates are eligible to vote.
Hon Nelson C Len who is always loved by his people, for his grassroots connections clinched victory with 4 votes out of 12, after defeating 9 other aspirants who also worked hard to be the party's flag bearer of the Constituency but as it is said only one will always be sent to represent the people.

The above was made known during the Declaration by the retuning officer Hon. Boaz Ishaku and his Assistant Hon Mrs Salihu Tafi Warwar appreciated the people for conducting themselves and for allowing a field for the peaceful conduct of free and fair elections
