Adamawa Police Command's Operatives have arrested a minor, Sunza Samuel, at Ngurore, Yola South Local Government Area in possession of a revolver pistol.


The minor who hails from Dunge village in Shelleng Local Government Area was arrested in Ngurore by the operatives attached to Ngurore division in Yola South LGA.




Likewise, the operatives have disconnected a "Shila" network and recovered a large number of weeds suspected to be Indian hemp as well as handsets.



A statement by the image-maker of the command, DSP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, and made available to our reporter on Thursday, said that the boy was arrested during a confidence-building patrol on the 2nd December 2021.

He reassured the commitment of the Commissioner of Police, Mohammed Ahmed Barde, towards ensuring a sustained effort by the police in fighting crime, improving public safety and security across the state.



While commending the operatives for dislodging and reclaiming public space, urged all the Divisional Police Officers and their supervisory Area Commanders to intensify effort in disconnecting the crime network and denying the criminals the opportunity to regroup.
