In a bid to give back to their society and add value to humanity, the 1996 set of Federal Government College, Wukari, Taraba state on Saturday donated 15 solar street lights to the alma mater.


Rhapsodi Affos Blog (RAB) gathered that the 1996 alumni installed 15 solar street lights at strategic locations within the college to mark their silver jubilee.


The event was commissioned by the Vice-Principal with Mr. Diseh Joel representing the alumni at the commissioning. The set on the other hand handled by its president, Mr. Aduloju Olabayo had a reunion in Abuja to mark the moment. The reunion had in attendance set mates and friends.





A new set of executives emerged at the reunion with Mr. Otse Ogorry as President, Ezinwa Ododo as vice president, Awudu Zhema as Secretary, and Diseh Joel as PRO. The set looks forward with optimism about the next project and is also encouraging others to reach out to their alma mater and make necessary contributions.


In an appreciation letter, the head girl of the college showed gratitude to the alumni for extending a helping hand and providing solar lights for the institution.
