Taraba state has emerged winner of the Centre for Climate Change Competition. Mr. Magaji Mamman Munga who represented Taraba state in the national competition of 100 participants emerged was declared the winner of Thursday in Ebonyi State.

The event which was organized by the Centre For Climate Change And Development, Dr. Alex Ekweme Federal University Alike Ndufu Ebonyi State in collaboration with the World Resources Institute Washington DC is aim is to engage Nigerian youths to participate in the campaign against Climate change and Environmental management as while as creating awareness to all Nigerian about climate change mitigation. 



It was gathered that out of the 100 participants that submitted their entry for this competition, the Top10 participants were selected for the last round. The top3 winners emerged from the last step, producing Mr. Magaji Mamman Munga as the first, Stella Adewuyi as the second, Arinze Emmanuel emerged third.

The topic for the competition was tagged Promoting Climate Action through Art which involved Music, monologues, poems, spoken word, and Painting. Cash prizes we're giving to the winners respectively. 




While expressing gratitude, Mr. Mamman who was overwhelmed by the great feat, thanked God for his ability, he also thanked, His Excellency Arc Darius Dickson Ishaku and HONOURABLE speaker TSHA Rt. Hon. Prof. Joseph Albasu Kunini for supporting climate change ADVOCACY in Taraba State and the support towards holding World Environment Day June 2021 in Taraba State.
