Unknown gunmen attack fast rising politician, Hon. Shamang Moses in Taraba

Tragedy struck on Friday as a fast rising Taraba politician, Hon. Shamang Moses (El Mozay) was attacked by unknown gunmen in Taraba state.

Rhapsodi Affos Blog RAB reporter gathered from the victim and other community sources that the gunmen suspected to be assailants stormed his house located at Gullum, a suburb of Kona Community of Jalingo, the Taraba state capital in the late hours of Friday, and were seven in numbers, all wearing masks. They forced their way into his house.

We further gathered that the gunmen started beating him with their Gun until he fainted and lost consciousness. According to him,  they thought he was dead and they left him, he however told our reporter that the attack is politically inclined.

As at the time of filing this report, he is responding to treatment.

 

Hon. Shamang Moses, contested as councillor Representing Kona ward under the People's Democratic Party  (PDP) but lost, he was recently appointed as a Special Assistant (SA) to the speaker, Taraba State House Of Assembly, Prof.. Joseph Albassu Kunini (Al-kinjoh)
