Team Taraba, Sokoto has won two bronze medals as the National Sports Festival comes to an end. The annual event which started a week ago hosted 37 states with the inclusion of the federal capital territory(FCT) and  Edo was the host state of the 2021 festival.


Team Delta and Team Edo topped the list and won a total of 380 and 337 medals respectively followed by Team Bayelsa, Rivers, and Lagos haven won 169, 128, 124 medals repetitively making the top5 wins of the festival.


On the other hand, Team Sokoto, Adamawa, and Taraba made the button of the list of medals table having won 3, 2, 2 medals respectively.

Games such as athletics, badminton, volleyball, Basketball, Table Tennis and lots more were played.

Rhapsodi Affos Blog had reported that Team Taraba won her first bronze medal on Monday in table  defeating its Lagos counterpart.


Recall that it was earlier reported that Team Taraba and Edo were reinstated after their initial disqualification due to the inability to provide the COVID19 results of their players.
