Taraba’s 20 MOST INFLUENTIAL YOUTHS IN 2020 is an annual first Hosted by Rhapsodi Affos Blog RAB, a Taraba Based Media Outlet. This is the first edition.


Being aware of how many people have made merchandise of awards in Taraba state and how it has been bastardised, we at Rhapsodi Affos (RAB) are resolute to change the narrative and thus decided to come up with the criteria for selection of Taraba’s 20 MOST INFLUENTIAL YOUTHS IN 2020.



CRITERIA FOR SELECTION


Who Can Be Awarded?


1.The awardee must be a Taraban or resident in Taraba or has a business in Taraba


2.An awardee must be between the age of 17 - 40 (40 Years as of 2020)


3.In 2020, the awardee must have empowered or added value to at least 10-15 youths in Taraba State.


4.An awardee should be either, a businessman, farmer, entertainer, philanthropist, peace promoter, etc


5.The awardee must have at least 5-10 youths who earn directly or indirectly through him/her from a tangible source.


6.The Award is not a voting category, selections are made by our Scout team.


7.Awardees are selected based on their achievements in 2020 alone. (1st January- 31st December) not lifetime achievements.


8.The awardee should have at least 5 pictures from different occasions of how he or she has affected the lives of Tarabans & humanity. ( for NGO’s)


9.In 2020, the recipient of the award shouldn't have any record of public misconduct, or violence.


10.Youths that are presently ELECTED office holders are not eligible for this award.


11.80-85% Selection of the award will be done by the team, only 15-20% will be given to the public to send in their suggestions and it will be strictly scrutinized by the team to ensure it conforms with the aforementioned criteria.
