One Arrested As Gunmen Abduct Chinese Road Contractor in Taraba

A Chinese contractor working with the C construction company has reportedly been abducted by unknown gunmen in Taraba State, Rhapsodi Affos Blog RAB reports.

Our reporter gathered that the Chinese contractor whose identity is yet to be identified was abducted on Monday night along Donga - Marraba road, a suburb of Donga Local Government in the state.

It was further gathered from a community source,

Mr. Yamujeh Usman Ba'aga is also a resident of the Mararaba community and a per-time worker with C construction company

Confirmed that the Chinese man went to supervise the quality of the gravel being fetched along Donga Mararaba road, where the gunmen ambushed them & abducted the man.

According to outsource, the gunmen overpowered
the police bodyguard of the contractor who tried to repel the attack.

One of the kidnappers was said to be captured by the youth and was beaten to a comma, while the rest succeeded in taking the Chinese contractor away.

As at the time of filing this report, The spokesman of the Taraba state command Police, DSP David Misal is yet to confirm the report as he didn't pick nor returned the calls and texts our reporter made to him.
