The joint forces of the Nigerian military men, police forces have taken over the streets of Jalingo metropolis beating defilers of the imposed curfew.
Rhapsodi Affos Blog RAB reporter took a tour at some areas of the metropolis and discovered at around 8 AM, the residents were moving freely but an hour later, the security forces came out and were situated at Area Command Junction of the metropolis and swung into action, beating people who defiled the orders.

Recall that the Taraba State government on Saturday declared a 32 hours curfew in the metropolis as a result of the looting of warehouses and government properties which resulted in the dead of 4 people. The curfew which is supposed to lapse today has been extended to further notice.
The curfew was extended after residents shunned the earlier curfew and went about their normal duty and hoodlums also used the opportunity to vandalize private properties, offices, and schools.

RAB found out that in order to maintain peace, soldiers from Gashaka Barracks of the state were deployed to the metropolis.
