Tragedy struck as a thunderstorm reportedly struck three siblings to death and their mother was severely burnt in Taraba state.
The siblings who aged 12, 8 and 6 respectively lost their lives instantly when the thunder struck them.
It was gathered that the incident occurred at about 5.30PM on Tuesday in Pupule village, a suburb of Yorro local government of Taraba state, when the mother identified as Justina Nyavoro and her three children were returning from the farm.

A community source in the village said Justina and her three children were returning from the farm under very heavy rain and were almost at Pupule village when the thunder struck them.
It was further gathered that the three children were killed instantly while their mother was unconscious due to severe and serious injuries she sustained and was rushed to Pupule maternity hospital for medical assistance.
As at time of filing this report, the deceased have since been buried a few hours after the incident while their mother is cooperating with treatment.
Confirming the incident, the former Chairman of Yorro local government, Mr. Acicus Kovorova said, it was painful and unfortunate.
