800 AK-47 ammunition were seized on Wednesday when men of the Nigerian army intercepted and arrested 3 notorious gun-runners in Sardauna.


Rhapsodi Affos Blog RAB gathered that the notorious gun-runners made their Waterloo when the military men intercepted in Yerimaru village, a village of Kaka town in Mambilla Plateau, Sardauna Local Government Council of Taraba State, with over 800 AK47 ammunitions on their way to the Republic of Cameroon.


The arrest according to our findings was carried out by the  Nigerian military who were stationed in the border areas in Sardauna and Kurmi Local Government Areas, respectively.

Taraba State police spokesperson, DSP David Misal confirmed the arrest, he said the suspects, whose names were not disclosed, are members of the Cameroonians Ambazonia who based around the Nigerian border town of Fufore, Tongo Jada in Adamawa, Sardauna and Kurmi in Taraba State respectively.

It was gathered that gun runners have since been transferred to the state capital, Jalingo, for further investigation and possible prosecution.

DSP Misal also revealed that the military also arrested one Saleh Koshila, a Nigerian Ambazonia logistics supplier who attempted to obtain bail for the criminals.
