Taraba Youths Protest Continuous Flirting of Young girls with Married Men (Sugar Daddies)

The male youths of Taraba state have protested the continuous tangling of the female youths in Taraba state by married men mostly referred to as Sugar daddies.

Some the youths who lamented the sad occurrence took it to their social media handles to express their groves. A social media user named “Jesse Shon Voyamba” took to his Facebook handle to post The increasing rate of flirting between girls (especially the ones in their early 20's) and married men in Jalingo is really scary.
Funny thing is, these same girls will start praying for a God-fearing man once they want to settle down”.

The above post generated a lot of relations, though many obliged to his submissions but some may not agree with it but never made it open.
A research by Rhapsodi Affos Blog has shown that the young the rate at which young ladies mostly at age of 19-32 patronise married men is more alarming and rapid in the tertiary institutions within the state, while others use it as a medium for making money (in exchange with sex) others have been dragged into it as a result of influence and peer pressure.

Our findings also show that 6 out of 10 girls have sugar daddies and 8 out of 10 university girls have sugar daddies. A random interview and chat by Rhapsodi Affos Blog RAB reporter with some of the youths, though most of them pleaded anonymity, a lady who is a student with one of the universities in the state said, sometimes the female hostel is virtually empty especially during raining and cold season.

Another source faulted the opening of a multipurpose club, motel directly opposite Taraba State University. Another source Jonathan Sabastine Irimiya told our reporter how he lost his relationship to a sugar daddy because he has no money and the older man gives her more money.

On our path, we took a ride to some of the hotels in Jalingo, the state capital, Wukari, Takum, Bali & Zing, it was discovered that around such Union of ‘mutual’ benefits takes place mostly around 8PM-11PM where the ladies go to meet their older lovers.

Cicclia Kadiri Jacob who granted an interview said though she isn't supporting such an act because it destroys the home of other women and subject them to pain. She also advised men to be faithful in their marriage.
