There's a looming sign of crisis in Jauro Yinu Ward of Ardokola LG of Taraba system over refusal of the Taraba state electoral commission (TSEI) to declare The candidate of the All progressives Grand Alliance APGA,  Alexander Andrew Shaukani winner of the WaWard poll.

The Youths of Jauro Yinu Ward however took to the street on a peaceful Demonstration, calling on the Taraba State Independent Electoral Commission TSIEC to announce their results in the just concluded Local government Election.

The candidate of the All progressives Grand Alliance APGA  Alexander Andrew Shaukani had won the Election with wide margin defeating the PDP candidate Hon. Kini Emmanuel with 610  votes against 455votes,

Addressing the newsmen in Jauro Yinu Ward Hon. Alexander lamented the irregularities in their concluded Local government Election pointing out that TSIEC wants to hijack the mandate of the people by declaring the candidate the PDP winner of the poll.


The Youth leader of APGA called on TSIEC to do the needful by declaring him the winner of the election after securing highest lawful votes at the poll.
" At the collation of the votes yesterday at the ward headquarters, APGA had 610 votes but the returning officer decided not to announce the results on the spot. He went away without giving any words, even the materials for the election were left there.

"We want TSIEC to announce the results, they are already altering the results at the residence of members representing Ardo-Kola at the state house of Assembly. The election has been peaceful, it's time the votes count. The people voted APGA in broad daylight, they should not change it or tamper with the will of the people." He added.
