15 Men have been arrested in Jalingo, Taraba state capital over homosexual activities and engagements in Taraba state.

Rhapsodi Affos Blog gathered that the first victim identified as Umar Isa was nabbed at Sarkin Dawaki area of Jalingo while he was defiling a minor. An interrogation with him led to the arrest of more suspects. Umar, upon more probing admitted he committed the offense and has been into it for a longtime now.

Mr. Sabiu Majaji, the head of vigilante while describing how the operation went, he said

“A report reached our office that a man was defiling a small boy in the football pitch of Model primary school. On getting to the field at around 8PM on Wednesday, we met him defiling the boy right in the football field  and me and my men have arrested him and handed him over to the police”.

A community source told Rhapsodi Affos Blog reporter that there have been several cases of homosexual activities in the area and little boys are brainwashed either by buying them biscuits or giving them little money and then take advantage of them, he also commentednthe efforts of the vigilante in thier prompt response.

While confirming the arrest, the state police spokesman DSP David Misal said he has been informed about the arrest but waiting for the division for more details and onward instruction
