Sixty-nine kidnap and armed robbery suspects have been apprehended by the police in Adamawa State.
The police in the state also recovered three AK47 rifles, ammunition and other locally fabricated firearms.
Commissioner of Police in the state, Olugbenga Adeyanju, paraded the suspects in Yola, the capital city, on Monday morning.

He said, "Following credible information, the command in collaboration with vigilante/hunters stormed Yadim Hills, the hotbed of kidnappers, on May 29, 2020 and apprehended seven suspects, recovered three AK47 rifles.
"Also recovered were one Dane-gun, one locally made pistol and two motorcycles.
"Investigation led to the arrest of another syndicate that kidnapped one Sule Haro, Solomi Ishaya and killed her husband, Pastor Ishaya at Mararaban Bokki under Gombi LGA in April 2020.
