The National center for disease control (NCDC) and Taraba state have deployed their response team to Ibbi LG of the state over its first case.

This was made public  in a tweet by the official handle of NCDC, they stated that despite the difficulties in accessing the community it is of utmost priority to them reaching the people.

Below they stated

“Following the first #COVID19 case in Ibbi LGA, Taraba, the State & NCDC Rapid Response Teams were deployed immediately
"Despite difficulty in accessing the community, our priority was to reach the people. The LGA is now better involved in response activities”
