Fast rising, Nigerian and Taraba born singer cum rapper, Skylite cries out for support from his home front and the need for artists to be supported, Musa Affos writes.

Skykite made his plea when he took to his official Facebook handle to post. The rapper stressed the fact that contrary to claims that artists need to go to Lagos to make it, he emphasized the need for support even from home and going out doesn't necessarily translate to success.

He however said, if he is pushed to leave his home because of lack of support from his home state, Taraba he might probably not remember home when he is out and doing well.

It could be recalled that Skylite released his Extended Play (EP), Kid In Disguise (KID) early 2020 where EP housed amazing artists like Sandii, NattyBard. Jossy and lots more.

Recall, Taraba state is the home state and the state of origin of African Rapper, MI Abaga and his brother Jesse Jagz but according to findings by Rhapsodi Affos Blog, home base entertainers in Taraba particularly are lamenting for the fact that the rapper has not really done much to help upcoming rappers in the state.

While others faulted the rapper for neglecting his state and representing Jos others on the other hand blamed it on the negligence and lack of support from the state when the duo of MI and Jesse Abaga were coming up.
