Taraba State-based pressure group, Taraba Interest Group, TIG, has commended Governor Darius Ishaku’s response to COVID-19 pandemic in the state, noting that six out of the 17 COVID-19 cases recorded in the state have been discharged.
TIG in a statement signed by its Publicity Secretary, Comrade Yohana Silas rated Ishaku “Excellent’’ in the management of the issues surrounding the pandemic.

Recall that the Taraba State Commissioner for Information and member of the state’s technical Committee on COVID-19, Danjuma Adamu yesterday announced that six among the 17 COVID-19 cases recorded in the state were discharged Tuesday to reunite with their family.
The statement reads, “The rating became imperative as a result of the proactive measures and leadership strategies adopted by the governor in the fight against the novel Coronavirus.
”This unbiased rating is on the strength of Governor Darius Ishaku’s response to COVID-19, his cooperation with federal agencies and committees in the battle against the pandemic”.
