The senior pastor of Royal ministries of God Int'l popularly known as Royal Chapel, PST Mrs Orpha Hassan Datti has revealed that trials and persecution are the true test of a believer. Rhapsodi Affos Blog reports.

PST Datti said this during Easter Sunday service at the headquarters of the church in Jalingo. She spoke on the “The benefit of Jesus’s Life, Death & his resurrection”, and took her reading from John 6:48.

She stated that in times of trials and persecution that is when true Christians are revealed and persecution sure what one is made up of. She however urged the congregant and Christians at large to get close to God.

He further stated that the coronavirus pandemic should be enough reason for believers to draw closer to God and hold firmly to him.

Speaking about Easter, she further explained that the death of Jesus is the reason for living, his death gives hope of the present and also the future. She however advise the congregation to adhere strictly to government orders.

She seized the moment to pray for the nation and particularly the states that have been confirmed to have the virus.

Recall that the Taraba state government lifted the ban on worship 3 days ago. Prior to the lift on the ban, worship centers and the state were under lockdown as part of the measures to contain the pandemic virus pandemic.
