Residents of Jalingo metropolis have observed strict adherence to the lockdown order in the state, Rhapsodi Affos Blog reports.

Sequel to the Lock down order given by Taraba state governor, Darius Ishaku as part of the measure to contain the CoronaVirus pandemic, the residents of Jalingo have adhered strictly to the order.

Rhapsodi Affos Blog RAB team took to some of the major and busy streets of the metropolis but the road looks dormant except for security vehicles and those on special duties.

Busy places like Roadblock, Mayo Gwoi bus stop, ATC, Nukkai & Mile six were relatively empty.

Rhapsodi Affos Blog also took to the street on Friday and observed that the Muslim’s Jummat prayers wasn't held in line with the state government order. The Christian body through CAN has also ordered the closure of churches for 3weeks and hopefully, the order begins with tomorrow's Sunday worship.

It could be recalled that the governor via a press release has ordered the closure of market, worship centers and a complete lock down as part of his measure to contain the virus.
