We ushered in a new year and decade just four (4) weeks ago and many events had occupied the last 31 Days on our calendars already. Apart from our individual routines, falls and feats, the world had its own spark too.

From incessant bombings in the ever volatile NE in Nigeria, to the judiciary miscarriage in IMO, to President Trump's 'ping pong' with Iran, to Boko- Haram's unprecedented beheading of captives. Wild Bush Fire in Australia to South West's 'Amotekun', to Kobe Bryant's Copter crash killing all passengers onboard. CoronaVirus outbreak in China to LassaFever in about 10 States in Nigeria, and the sack of a female Secretary for being beautiful and attractive as narrated by Daddy G.O. All these all in one Month and more still trending as I write.

Nothing is to be taken too serious in our age, as we have seen some worse scenarios and more will still happen. The wave of changes of our climatic conditions calls for caution, and reasons to be GREEN. Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.

Political situations in Nigeria is becoming unstable and also a nuisance. We now parade clowns as legislators with nothing while we hail politicians with penchant for non productivity. If we don't stand firm in our quest for a better society, if we fail to let these people strive without corresponding consequences for their acts - we will keep sliding backwards.

Our daily news and narratives are centred on the act of not taking human lives serious. Killing of our fellow compatriots is now a norm, that we no longer see anything wrong with it. How do we look at our offsprings in their eyes and narrate to them, how we failed to elect credible leaders at all levels? I know a few people will bring 'blame games' into this - but we have never had it so bad and dark as we have it now.The youths of our country are systemically being impoverished so they can be easily tamed and dominated by the gerontocrats.

I was privileged to visit some Youths under the lead of Nasko Campaign organization before the 2015 Gubernatorial elections. All they wanted was Revolution. Myself and my Boss, asked them what are the methodologies/strategies to be used and all we got was irrational noise and emotions that will lead to waste of human Lives.

The 'Occupy Nigeria Protest' of 2012 was sponsored by the then opposition and it crippled the government in just one week.

Nigeria is a country where you must be very careful on what 'cause' you hop on. The studies and education on this society is enough to guide me, unless I want to be stupid. What will make credible and influential Nigerians believe and invest in your 'cause'?

It goes beyond our activities here, can't we democratically replace our oppressors? A good  and purposive assemblage of youths will do it!let's meet at the Taraba youths round table slated for 22/2/2020 to map out strategy for progressive Society.

As we move to the new month tomorrow, let us keep the  banners flying with the inscription: "We either evolve as a people or perish as fools."
