Soldiers who fired the vechile carrying suspected kidnap kingpin, Wadume,  policeman and a civilian leading to the death of 3 policemen and a civilian are likely to be dismissed as panel sent by the defense headquarters concludes its investigation.

RAB gathered that the panel which was constituted of  a seven - man Joint Investigative Panel set up by the Defence Headquarters, Abuja , to probe the killing of three policemen in Ibi , Taraba State , has concluded its report and would submit it to the Chief of staff on Monday .

 As gathered from confidential Top military sources,  the report was believed to have pointed some army, police personnel as well as a few civilians.

Sources at the DHQ said "noting that the officers and soldiers would likely face court -martial and dismissal , “going by their level of culpability .”

The panel concluded its work on Friday, prior to their conclusion, The Joint Investigative Panel, which was led by Rear Admiral Ibikunle Olaiya, has top officers culled from the police, army, navy, air force, the Department of State Services and the DIA  came to Taraba state to ascertain the true situation of things.

It was gathered that after sitting for three days at the Defence Intelligence Agency, Abuja, during which it grilled army officers , soldiers , policemen and the suspected kidnap kingpin, Hamisu Wadume  came to the conclusion of their investigation.

Sources who pleaded anonymity told RAB
the panel had concluded its work and culpable soldiers would not escape court- martial and dismissal .
However, the  source did not know the number of officers and soldiers indicted by the report .

It could be recalled that Rhapsodi Affos Blog RAB, reported on Monday that the police had arrested Wadume at a hideout in the Layin Mai Allo Hotoro area of Kano State , following a manhunt by the police special forces and Intelligence Response Team members in Taraba and the surrounding states .
