The Taraba State House of Assembly today confirmed extension of  three months tenure for the  16 Local government chairmen's, submitted to the Assembly by His Excellency Gov. Darius Dickson Ishaku.

The Speaker of the House, Rt Hon Abel Peter Diah, announced the confirmation during the Assembly plenary session in Jalingo, Taraba State capital.

Urged them to intensify efforts in discharging their responsibilities for the betterment of the state  and to also work on uniting the people at the grass root to leave in peace.
