Sequel to the communal clash between TIV & Jukun people in Kente ward of Wukari LG. Royal fathers sures for Peace.

 The meeting which was held on Friday at the palace of Aku Uka, Dr. Shekarau Angyu Matsa Ibbi had in attendance the Tor Sankera from Benue, Adi Grace - Chairman Wukari LGA, Chairman Okum LG, Cpt. AA Aliyu security head of Kente, DPO Bweji, Benue state, Security Personnel and other Royal fathers.

While speaking on the clash, Aku Uka expressed his disappointment as this
Is not the first time such a meeting was held to resolve Tiv\Jukun crisis,
6th July 2018 same meeting was held & a communique was signed. Still holding up to the communiqué. He said suspicion was the prime cause of the chaos.

The monarch also urge the people to embrace peace & should be conscious of what legacy they're going to leave for the next generation. He also made a plea to the FG to engage Royal fathers with roles, encourage tax & Tax assessment.

While speaking, the  Chairman of Wukari LG, Adi Grace: lamented that he was attacked at Ikyayor village where 3 vechiles in his convoy was attacked and burned down to aches. After going to inspect the scene of crisis, Adi also stressed the need for peace and that he sees TIV & Jukun as people from same father & different mothers.

The Tor Sankera, HRM Abuking shuluwa while speaking said the Tiv in Taraba are under Aku Uka and not Benue and hence

all that ran should return back to Taraba and continue to live as brothers, he went further to express his disappointment in the youths for fighting one another and tempering with the existing peace between the two tribes, he also said, his mom is from Kente. He concluded with a call fro seize fire.
