The youth of Taraba state have called for peace & calm in Taraba following the recent post election crisis which has caused unrest and led to the death of many & several left injured in Jalingo.
A group of Taraba youth known as Taraba Concern Youth is which is headed by (NUTASS, Mr Taraba & Spice) organized a Peace campaign on Monday in Jalingo where they took to the street to canvass for peace.
The youths gathered in their numbers and visited the "Welcome to Jalingo" gate where they carried their flags and tags with different inscription which all portrays peace and the need for peaceful coexistence. The youth continued the campaign to the Jalingo main market, Mechanic village & Grace junior academy where they sensitive the general public on the need for peace and that we all news each other.
In an exclusive interview with Rhapsodi Affos Blog (RAB) Team, one of the organisers, Mr. Usako Ubeh (Mr. Taraba) said the group is a Non governmental, non political & non religious body of youth which is headed by himself, Spice, Amos Likita (NUTASS president).
Ubeh also condemned the post election violence that erupted in the state, saying Peace is the basis for development and without peace there won't be growth. He also added that this is the beginning of the campaign as peace is a continuous thing.
Ex beauty Queen, Fitami David, Martha Joseph (Miss Taraba 2018/19), Favour Joshua, Magdeline Musa & other beauty Queens graced the occasion.
El Nelly, D Pitaz, Edimore JB & other entertainers were also present.
