In the quest to encourage youth inclusive governance, Taraba state youths have kick start a new campaign, asking the governor to give them a commissioner that is below 40 years.

The campaign started when a Facebook user, Yavala Samuel took to his handle and posted
"Who is with me on this, commissioner of youth and sport should be below 40 years abeg" the  post got stirred up a lot of reactions from the youth as they all seconded the post.

Few hours later, another Facebook user, Disebe S Bala Donga also took to his handle and posted

 "Commissioner of youth and sport Taraba should be less than 40 years". Though others argue that the age should be cut down to 35 or 37 but they all support the motion.

Several major youth oriented WhatsApp groups in the state where heated with the same topic as Ex beauty Queen, Fitami David insisted that the new appointment should carry the necessary changes and be more youth oriented and friendly.

In thesame development Zanau Maikasuwa, the SDP candidate for member HOA representing Ibbi in the just concluded polls argued that, having a commissioner of youth and sport that is below 40 years will be a mirage in this administration except necessary measures and push are taken by the youth of the state.

It could be recalled the incumbent governor of Taraba state was returned elected and yet to make any appointment.
